Dependence on foreign oil is higher than it has ever been. With nearly all American households with two or more cars, our fuel consumption is at an all time high. Since many trucks just 12 miles per gallon to have, this is a huge difference in fuel consumption and therefore costs. This gas-saving hybrid Prius makes it so popular.
